April Update
Well it's been a few months since the last update. Since then we now have a floating floor, extra diffusion in the live room, and more isolation. We then had Ash in to record drums for Will Stoker and the Embers; tracking 14 songs in a day. I've begun working with two aussie rock guys working towards an album. Tracking went well with Justin James who performed a gigantic stint of piano virtuosity featuring Rachmaninoff, Chopin, Ravel, and Liszt. Work is continuing on the King Wasabi album, and also on Morphica. This week we have Decibel recording all week with works by Lindsay Vickery, Cat Hope, Jon Rose, and John Cage - an interesting routing exercise featuring live quadraphonic spatialisation and many more non-conventional recording techniques. ShockOne's album is now released, and it is great seeing him featured on BBC radio, Triple J, iTunes, and Beatport.
